My journey into counselling began as a teacher, recognising that psychological safety is essential for learning. Psychological safety refers to an environment where individuals feel secure enough to express themselves, ask questions, take risks, and make mistakes without fear of judgment, humiliation, or punishment. This interest grew into further study of psychology and person-centred counselling, influenced by my own transformative experience as a client.
The therapeutic relationship is uniquely powerful, which is why I chose to offer this to others seeking support at any point in their adult life. I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
With years of firsthand experience in both education and counselling, I am dedicated to providing a holistic approach that addresses each client’s unique needs. My service includes person-centred counselling for adults (18+), drawing upon the principles of Carl Rogers’ person-centred approach. This method is grounded in the belief that each individual has the capacity for self-discovery and growth when provided with a genuine, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment.

Alongside counselling, I offer tailored tuition in Maths, English, and Psychology, suitable for learners at various stages—including Key Stage 2, lower Key Stage 3, GCSE Psychology BTEC, and A Level Psychology AQA. Each lesson supports your learning styles. Whether you need foundational support in math, assistance with English comprehension, or guidance for Psychology coursework or exams, I aim to maximise progress and confidence. My Enhanced DBS check is on the Government Update Service.
At Clarity and Growth, children, teenagers, and adults are welcomed into a warm, inclusive environment. I celebrate every achievement, no matter how small, and provide ongoing encouragement to help tutees reach their full potential. Progress is regularly reviewed, with clear goals set to ensure each session builds upon the last. I offer flexible scheduling and remote sessions to accommodate busy lifestyles, making support accessible and consistent. Clarity guides my work with you, whether in therapy or tuition.
